Zeitro alternatives for loan officers: Leaf360 compared honestly
Zeitro builds AI tools focused on the origination side: pricing, point of sale, and borrower-facing flows. Leaf360 is an AI Operating System for the business side of mortgage: CRM, communication intelligence, and wholesale infrastructure run by Lia, an agentic AI. The two overlap less than they appear to. Choose Zeitro for AI-assisted origination tooling. Choose Leaf360 to run the relationship and pipeline side of your business, from lead to close to repeat client.
AI guideline engine plus CRM and point of sale
Solo loan officers and small brokerages who want guideline lookup, a borrower application and a CRM at a very low price.
Published per seat, with a free tier
Zeitro, a small bootstrapped company of roughly 26 people, Silicon Valley based.
Choose Zeitro if
- Your bottleneck is origination tooling: pricing engines and borrower-facing application flow, not pipeline or follow-up.
- You want a point-of-sale layer and already have a CRM setup you are keeping.
Choose Leaf360 if
- You want one system for pipeline, partners, follow-up, wholesale and calling instead of a stack of tools.
- You want the AI to build and run the work from plain language, not another builder to configure.
- You want to start free today, with published pricing and no implementation project.
What Zeitro is, and how it works
The lowest-priced AI-first mortgage platform: a guideline engine, a digital 1003, a pricing engine and a lightweight CRM, starting at a free tier.
Zeitro's center of gravity is Strata AI, formerly GuidelineGPT and Scenario AI. It searches more than 300 lending guidelines, agency and non-QM, and returns answers with page-level citations. Around it sit a digital 1003 that exports MISMO 3.4, a live pricing engine for conventional and non-QM quotes, GrowthHub branded microsites with live rates, and a CRM for the pipeline.
It is priced to be tried, and its content marketing is the most aggressive in the category. Zeitro publishes its own "best mortgage CRM" rankings, with itself at the top.
The CRM is the lightest part. Guidelines, application and pricing are the product; pipeline, partner management and calling are supporting features.

Built for

What Zeitro solves, and what it doesn't
Where it is genuinely good
- Guideline questions with citations, across agency and a large non-QM investor set.
- A borrower application and pricing quotes in the same place.
- Cost. Nothing else in mortgage is this cheap to start.
Where a mortgage originator runs out of road
- The CRM, partner management and reporting are thin next to full mortgage CRMs.
- No built-in phone system with calling and texting compliance handled, and no wholesale lender marketplace listed as of the checked date.
- Automation is not agentic; there is no assistant that builds and runs your follow-up from plain language.
- A 26-person bootstrapped company; pricing and roadmap may not be stable.
What reviewers say about Zeitro
Summarized from public listings and trade press, September 2026: Zeitro site, Softbliq, bluerate.ai, aitoolsbakery. Read the originals before you decide; we did.
They praise
- Strata AI accuracy and citations; price; the pre-qualification flow.
They complain about
- Few documented complaints in public listings; most coverage is Zeitro's own content.
Where I stand on Zeitro
Not a review site's verdict. Mine. I built Leaf360 because I ran a mortgage business on the tools on this page.
Christian Mourra
Founder, Leaf360. Still originating.
Zeitro is the competitor I respect most on price and on guideline AI. If all you need is a guideline oracle and a 1003 for eight dollars, buy it.
What I think it gets wrong is the shape of the loan officer's day. Guidelines are a fraction of it. The rest is follow-up, partners, calls, texts, compliance, and, for a broker, staying approved with lenders. Leaf360's Lenders mode answers guideline questions from your own connected lenders with citations, and then the same Lia runs everything else.
Our Free plan exists for the same reason Zeitro's does: so you can check the claim with your own pipeline before you pay anyone.
Why I built an operating system instead of a better CRM
I ran my mortgage business across seven tools and a spreadsheet. Every CRM I tried was a database that waited for me to do the work: enter the lead, remember the follow-up, notice the file changed in the LOS, keep the compliance rules in my head. The tools got better every year and my Sunday nights did not.
So here is what I believe, and what every comparison on this site is judged against.
Christian Mourra, founder of Leaf360, still originating
The CRM era is over.
A CRM is a place to put people. It does not call them, write to them, or know when the loan moved. Total Expert now says the same thing to banks. We say it to the loan officer.
The system should do the work.
You tell Lia what you need in plain language. She builds the campaign, the workflow, the partner note, and waits for your approval where it matters. Agentic, not automated.
One system beats seven.
Pipeline, partners, follow-up, calling, compliance and wholesale in one place, so nothing falls between tools.
Open beats walled.
Leaf360 connects to 21 systems, and Lia works inside Claude and ChatGPT through our MCP server. We do not have an LOS to protect.
You should not need a sales call to find out.
Free plan, no card, published pricing, no setup fee. If a competitor is the better choice for you, the page says so.
